The chart below shows a breakdown of the email coming into the Remedy system. The vast majority of these email messages are tagged as spam and are written to a holding mailbox for review. There are a number of other types of email that are also diverted:
- Spam: Messages tagged as spam as they passed through the mail relays.
- Hi-ASCII: Messages containing high ASCII values in the subject line. Usually indicative of spam
- Bad Words: Messages containing words on a list of suspect words.
- No Scan Tag: Messages that have escaped scanning by the mail relays.
